It’s 100 years since the beginning of the Bauhaus design revolution in Germany, and it continues to have a huge impact on art, design and architecture. Bauhaus was founded on the idea of creating a “total work of art”. It is bold, minimal and functional.
At Gillen Design we also celebrated our 5th birthday recently, and our work is inspired by Bauhaus and other design influences. We strive to create great design solutions, guided by two key Bauhaus principles: Form follows function and Minimalism.
We like to think that Bauhaus concept guides us in our work, along with today’s cutting-edge design techniques and contemporary tools. Moreover, working in a modern and creative environment at WeWork in Berlin, surrounded by innovation and ambition, also gives us inspiration every day.
